Story
Story
The world is divided in two.
Ark, the city that floats in the sky, casting its dazzling light.
The Ground, devastated, with fights for limited resources.
Libel, leader of the Ground's resistance organization Rebellion, came up with the only way to change their situation.
To kidnap the “Tenshi” that only appears before people once every 4 years, during the festival.
The “Tenshi” is the Church of Nerve's symbol as well as the absolute object of worship and faith for the residents of Ark.
If the “Tenshi” is stolen, then neither Ark nor the Church of Nerve will be able to continue ignoring the Ground. Libel believes that is the only opportunity to seek a dialogue, so that they may finally attain freedom and equality.
And thus, on the day of the festival, the “Tenshi” is successfully kidnapped...

The extremist organization
The most dangerous organization among all of the ones that exist on the Ground. They destroy everything. They're part of a race that is being held captive by the souls of the dead.
While living in the Ground's most deteriorated environment, just as their ancestors, they are unable to escape from that land and don't meet with people from other districts.

A calamity with a human face
Leader of the extremist resistance organization Kokujohyako. Rude, cruel, self-confident. His individual fighting prowess is the strongest. Being part of the race that is being held captive by the souls of the dead, his strength exceeds those of average humans; it is the curse power of their ancestors. Sees the comrades he grew up with as brothers; everything and everyone else is the target of plunder and destruction.

A fighter of the extremist resistance organization Kokujohyako. A destructionist and hedonist. Always lenient, never thinking about anything. Thinks nothing of other people's lives and loves making happy people unhappy. Due to having lived together with Vida and Horca like a family, he carries deep affection for them.

The mocking sage
A fighter of the extremist resistance organization Kokujohyako and in charge of their finances. A gutsy person in charge of trafficking stolen goods, managing weapons and negotiating with traders. Comparatively decent thoughts among Kokujohyako and therefore able to be talked to, but like the other two a holder of broken sense. An satirist with a constant smile.
